“The radio is fantastic. It is easy to use ,has great sound and long battery life. The key to long battery life is to select the lowest backlight settings from the "System" section: Timeout" (10 seconds), "On Level" (Low) and " Dim Level" (Low). Also when switching the radio off ensure that the On/Off/Standby button is pressed long enough for the radio to display "BYE-BYE" which fully powers the radio off and prevents the radio from going to "stand by" which adds to battery usage.
I feel that the On/Off/Standby button is a little too sensitive. When packing to travel it can easily switch itself on so will need to be in its box, or simular, to prevent this happening. This is a minor observation as I feel that the radio is definately 5 stars. JT”
