“Having really enjoyed my original purchase of the full diffuser, when it ran out I ordered the refill as the diffuser itself was quite expensive. The refill is so disappointing, nothing like the fragrance of the original, in fact there's hardly any smell to it at all. I sent an email to CP Lighting asking whether it was old stock and got a very curt reply back informing me it wasn't!”

Dear Beverley, Thank you for posting a review and we’re so sorry to hear that your experience was not up to standards. We can see that the reed diffuser you had originally purchased was the Citrus Verbena scent however you purchased the Onyx refill, this is a different scent that matches our Onyx diffuser which is why the scent wasn't like the original. The Citrus Verbena refill is currently in stock if you would like to refill your reed diffuser with the same scent as the original. We are surprised to hear there was hardly any smell to the refill as they typically have quite a strong scent, however we will inform the suppliers about this.
