“Tiles are lovely. Really are. But only 2 edges on the outsides of the tiles are finished. So this meant we had to leave unfinished edges on our kitchen work top border which looked terrible so ended up removing the tiles and turning them around so the ‘point’ of the hex was at the top so you could see the 2 finished edges. Not what we wanted to be honest. Also had to square off the splash back as the tiles were unfinished in the edges and it looked really bad, so tiler had to trim the tiles and use edging trim to make it look half decent. It’s ok in the utility where we have a full wall as you can’t see the unfinished edges but on a border, it was terrible. Then choosing the best tiles to have on the top which looked nice was hard as pretty much all of the tiles were chipped and we had to fill them with caulk in the end. Our tiler had a right nightmare and costed use another days labour due to the carry on with the tiles. They do look lovely but if I had known about the unfinished, unglossed edges, I wouldn’t have bought them. I would recommend a full wall being done or using these tiles as a border way above eye line so you can’t see the unglossed edges. Or maybe that’s just me being a bit picky.”
