“I upgraded my bike earlier in the year from Swytch Gen 2 to Gen 3. When I made my selection of accessories I opted for the LED controller. Having fitted it and also reading some posts from other owners I came to the conclusion that it did not 'fit the bill' because to reduce power output you had to scroll through the higher settings to get back to the base line. I concluded this could be somewhat risky as increasing the power when you wanted to decrease it could cause problems. I messaged Swytch who could not have been more helpful. They offered me a free upgrade to the OLED controller, which can be scrolled up and down plus gives much more information. All I had to do was return the LED controller when the OLED arrived and was set up. All achieved in a few days. Brilliant assistance and customer service. “I have a single speed franken-bike and wanted some assistance in commuting up hills at the end of the day. Swytch has literally changed my life and made me a full time bicycle commuter! I still feel like I'm getting the exercise of biking and I have great control over my speed, but I get a little extra help with each pedal. Installation was easy if you're a little handy, but you could also have your local bike shop put it together. It does add a little bit of weight, but I don't even notice it. There needed to be a slight modification to the pedal sensor to make it fit the shape of the downtube and not hit the cadence ring, but otherwise was easy. “I converted my second bike with the Swytch kit. It is great to commute to my work. It was relatively easy to convert my bike into an e-bike with the Swytch Kit. I put the battery back on the seat; the battery in the handle was not so comfortable to ride. I had to wait a little longer to get my kit; this was my only complaint after that; customer service was good. The manuals and videos online are very useful. I am happy because with the Swytch Kit and kept my old bike, that I love it.”
