“My make and type of car has been known to have timing chain failures as early as 30,000 miles. I have used Shell Helix Ultra Professional for more than 100,000 miles in my present car without incident. It's not cheap, but a lot cheaper than an engine re-build.”
“Used in a Land Rover Discovery Sport with the new Ingenium engine. All I can say is that they seem to destroy themselves easily and at early mileages. Mine has done 75,000+ miles without issue, so I am going to say that this oil works well in this engine. Granted I change the oil yearly rather than every two years.”
