“When you unbox this filter, it looks as if it will not fit. This is because the diameter of the hole running through the filter is smaller than the spindle it fits over in the oil filter housing. If you centre it up and push it on, it does fit and clicks into place as required. However, supposing that the material which has to deform to fit over the spindle causes an issue? Mine went on okay and should be fine in use, but I cannot recommend it as it has the potential to cause an issue with fitment. The genuine Jaguar part is not like this. My car - XF 3.0 d 2013.”
