I'm late 70s (age, not birth) and I chose these because they give a bit of support; since the sole is quite firm, you don't wobble about as with some cheaper, softer slippers. I have trouble keeping my feet warm but not with these fab slippers: the lining is warm. Bought another pair in sale, so that when - or if! - my current ones give up the ghost, I have another pair ready and waiting. I was pleased that the style/construction/sizing has not changed since I bought my last ones...3 years ago. “I have bought these slippers now for the last fifteen years for myself and my family. They are so comfortable to wear all day at home but the quality has changed and is not as good as it was two years ago , the leather and suede are thinner and have gone into holes after just four months wear. My family have had the same problem . So for the price the quality is not good anymore.”
