“Having bought a number of Moshulu sandals/boots and slippers over the years from your retail shops, I decided to venture into online shopping for the first time. I thought it would be nice to order a pair of the Vitoria Slippers and found it hard to choose between the denim and cranberry! I finally made my choice and eagerly waited for my parcel to arrive. Although at first glance they appeared perfect like my previous ones, sadly I soon realised that they weren't. The faux fur edging was narrow and uneven on the top and the sole has lots of rough edges all the way round as though the cutting machine hadn't worked properly. Although I feel very disappointed, because of having a number of health issues at the moment and finding it difficult to get to a post office, rather than return them I have decided to keep them. I am sorry that this isn't a more positive review but as you emailed me I thought you might appreciate my feedback.”

“I've had a pair of Moshulu mules annually for at least a decade, just received a pair for Christmas and I'm horrified by the new sole. Not sure if I'll be able to pop to the bins or the shed in my slippers without slipping over :-(The robust, grippy sole was a key selling point to me. I really hope I'm wrong or these could be my last pair--------------------------------------------------Thanks for your review - and for being such a loyal customer! “My husband bought me these years ago. I wanted to have a new clean pair for this winter so ordered exactly the same and they are. Then I decided to wash the old ones thinking they'd probably be awful after but they've come up like new despite being fully submerged in warm water and washing liquid! So I now have two pairs to wear!! They are so comfortable.-------------------------So glad to hear you now have a bit of choice! We wouldn't recommend that our slippers are machine washed, as we have no guarantee that the glues used in manufacture would stand up to this process, but a gentle handwash should be fine. Some customers like to use a protector spray on the suede slippers, as this helps to protect them from and splashes & spills around the house - this should help them keep well for even longer!Moshulu Customer Care”
