“Although these are beautifully made when I tried them on, they felt like they were crushing my feet (even though they fitted length-wise) - I could barely hobble a few steps. I have several pairs of National Trust shoes and boots from here in the same size and never had this issue before. They just came up really, really small in terms of fit and the material felt quite unforgiving, so I didn't think they'd stretch if I tried. Sadly I've returned them and requested a refund. It's a shame, as I would have loved to keep them if they fitted properly.”
