“The Egret boots are not stocked in my local store but the very helpful staff ordered them in for me to try. I am normally a size 3 but having read other reviews and the note on the website I tried a 4 in Indigo. They are lovely boots, with an attractive embossed flower design and are a good fit although had I tried my usual size they would have been too small. I was expecting the Indigo to be a slightly darker blue as they are more of a grey blue but still a nice colour and overall I am very pleased with them.”
“I went to store and the assistant was very knowledgeable and helpful in ordering different sizes in for me to try. I am really pleased with the fit and look of the Egret (National Trust) boots in Wild Olive Green, with lovely decoration and a pretty and comfortable lining. The boots are quite stiff at the moment but I expect the quality material to give and soften as I wear them in. Please do not follow the trend and add a zip - they are great as they are!”
“I have just received my Egret boots. Look great and good quality as I would expect, but imagine my disappointment when I I could not get my foot in even with the laces fully loosened and using a shoe horn. I have had the same size from Moshulu before so 'know ' my size. These would have been the perfect boots for me but I am reluctant to buy another style or size now . Very disappointing. It's just not practical, apart from very expensive, to order several sizes and styles when online shopping so it is important to have continuity with the sizes. I only wish I had read all the reviews before ordering.”

“Lovely boots. I had the olive, but nervous about ordering these cause of negative reviews, but ordered half size up normally size 40 had 41. Phoned shop they got both sizes in for me. Yes you do have to loosen laces to get them on but once in they are so comfy. With tights and walking thicker socks folded down with a casual dress looks great. Plus helps national trust with the 10% donation going to them. Beautiful embossed flower design makes them not feminine for a chunky boot. Win win. Give them a try make your own decision.”
“These are soooo comfortable and look great! My job involves a lot of standing and a fair bit of walking, not to mention standing outside in the elements for an hour a day. I also regularly watch football and they've been a god send on cold damp Saturday afternoons and Tuesday evenings! They have kept my feet warm and dry, and I've not suffered from aching feet at all. They do come up small, order a larger size... I'm normally a 5 and ordered a 6 after reading reviews, and glad I did. They are quite tricky to put on, they are narrow and it can take a while to get the laces loose enough to put your foot in, but after a few tries it's quicker and easier. Then again, I do have narrow feet. I did have to send the first pair back as there were marks on them, but the customer service was great, and I received another pair within a week.”
“I always take a 6.5 with Moshulu boots, shoes and sandals. I've bought with your company since it's beginning. Previously a very happy customer. Like another reviewer, the size and width of these boots are way too small and tight. Sadly, I didn't try these on when received, keeping them to go away on a long weekend this month. Can't get my foot in them❣️ Anyone want them? I'll be very wary about buying from Moshulu again.”

“I wish I’d read these reviews before ordering. I really liked these boots but couldn’t even get them on with the laces at their loosest. I’ve always been delighted with the fit of all the shoes/boots I’ve bought from you in the past, size 37. Took them back to the shop and tried a 38. I could not get my foot in these. They fitted reasonably when I finally got them on but decided if it took this long every time I wanted to wear them I ‘d never get out. They were so nice generally and yes a zip in side might have really made a difference.”
“I tried these on in the shop in what *used* to be my usual Moshulu size but my toes were touching the end. I don’t live nearby so thought I’d order the next size up online once home, but they’re much more expensive online plus delivery costs! They were £75 in store and £89 online!”
