“I bought 2 pairs of the Perrine 3 version of this boot probably 3 years ago and have pretty much worn my favourite the Lagoon pair almost daily since. The sole is only now starting to thin and both sets of laces have broken. They’ve been very robust and are so so comfortable to wear and to walk in for a decent stretch. I’ve just treated myself to an Indigo Perrine 4 pair in the sale - the Perrine 4 version do seem a tighter fit across the top of my foot compared to the Perrine 3. I have very long narrow skinny feet, so I would imagine this newer version of the boot would be quite tight on someone with a larger foot. Also I realised the Perrine 4 version don’t have the metal rings on the outside for laces, just inside, so I hope they will last like the Perrine 3. A bargain purchase, especially when on sale!”
“I bought a pair of these boots a couple of years ago in a Moshulu shop. They were instantly comfortable and I never had any problems with them. I decided to buy a second pair recently, online, in a different colour, and was concerned to read reviews complaining that the size and fit seemed to have changed and the boots were tight. When mine arrived, I agreed: they were tight, particularly across the instep and the heel rubbed very badly. However, after wearing them a few times, with protection for the tender parts, I am finding them more comfortable.”

“My first pair in January were in the lagoon colour and I've reviewed these separately. Was so impressed with the comfort, I've just bought the raspberry colour. The colour is slightly darker than the photographs suggest, which is a plus for me as I wanted to wear them with "reds". These boots are supremely comfortable and take no wearing in. In fact, since buying the first pair, I've worn nothing else and was very pleased to be able to get a second pair in the sale. Would not hesitate to recommend them.”
“I even tried going up a size and they were still too small. I put the larger size against the Moshulu boots I was wearing (from last year) and they were a good 2cm smaller! Very disappointing.”
