“Very similar in looks to the nightjar which I love . I have those in blackcurrant. Wanted the swallow boots but had to return them as they were too big on the leg. These boots are much better for people with skinny legs. So comfortable. Beautiful with jeans or skirt. Stunning colour (I have lagoon). If you love the nightjar you will love these. “So disappointed. No smile from me. Ordered the ‘lagoon’ option because i love green. I thought i was sent the wrong ones, they are black. The zip is green and the lining is beautiful, but you cannot see that when you have them on. Also they are not true to size, too small. Bought a pair of Kos in denim a few weeks ago in a 6 1/2 , too large so i exchanged them for a 6. Perfect. Ordered Orke in a 6, too small. 2 pairs of flat boots with identical soles should be the same size. Not. Very sad. They are going back. No point in sending for a 6 1/2 because they are not green anyway.”
Thanks for your feedback Jackie; we are sorry to hear that your recent purchase failed to deliver the smile we promise. Our Orke boots are produced using a heavily waxed leather, which gives them their robust, casual look and feel. This can mean that they are a little darker in colour when first produced, but you should find that the colour lightens in time as the wax absorbs into the leather.
In terms of the sizing, we would expect this style to fit very similarly to the Kos that you've previously purchased so I'm sorry to hear that this wasn't the case. I wonder if perhaps you've received a mis-sized pair there?
