“I recently bought a pair of Betty footbed sandals and found they fit my foot very well. I had hoped that these would be a nice alternative with a similar fit. The fit was good, which isn't always the case, because I have quite difficult feet (quite shallow and long) and I really liked the look of these sandals.However, I found the shape of the footbed is different from the Betty and, in particular, higher on the outside of the foot. This was very uncomfortable for me. I often have challenges getting shoes or sandals to fit me comfortably because I have quite wide feet (G fitting in the old world) and these enable me to feel great going out or for just relaxing at home. “I have had three pairs so far, 2 brown, 1 blue. I wear them 365 days a year much to people's amusement. They are so incredibly comfy that I cannot bear to wear 'real' shoes anymore. The soles lasts for just over a year before it wears down and you get a crack in the sole near on the inside near the ball of your foot. Bearing in mind I wear them every day in the sun, rain, even snow!! So this is incredibly good quality, it's not often you can buy something and wear it every single day and have it last so long. When the soles wear down they turn into my house slippers. They really are a delight to wear, they look good with jeans, shorts, dresses, joggers - literally anything. I only substitute them for trainers if I'm walking more than 5 miles - anything up to that and they are perfect.”
