I have these in both the summery ice cream shades, cool Lilac and warm Pink, and when I put them on I feel like I'm on holiday! One tiny little niggle is that, when I'd worn them for a few days and tightened the straps by a notch, the buckles left a mark on the pale leather. A rub with a damp microcloth cleaned them to my satisfaction but they were no longer pristine. Would a suede eraser rectify this or might these lighter shades be even better with a non-marking buckle? I am not complaining - I mention this as I imagine it might matter to some people, in which case they might be better off sticking to the darker shades of trying a different style in a lighter colour. Personally, I absolutely love these and would thoroughly recommend them.

These are quite the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever bought!I usually take a size 5.5 which you don’t do but I took the advice of other reviewers and chose size 5 rather than going for a larger size, which, for sandals, has proved to be perfect. I was able to wear them straight away for a considerable time without having to ‘break them in’.The quality is excellent and they were delivered very quickly - and in the sale too!I shall certainly be trying more Moshulu shoes in future.

I realise that l really am the odd one out in these reviews! I have bought Moshulu shoes and slippers for many years and have always been pleased with the style and comfort, so, having read all the fantastic reviews about the Bavaria waxy double buckle sandals l bought these believing they would be great too. Wrong! Personally, l found the whole sandal very ‘stiff’, the footbed does hug the foot but the raised arch on the inside actually digs into my feet rather than giving comfort. They are slightly larger in size too.I really want to like them so will persevere with trying to wear them in, but currently not a huge fan and wouldn’t recommend or buy again.

Really broad: I have very broad feet and a high instep and have these fastened on their tightest hole, so probably no use if you have narrow feet.Colours much less vibrant than they look online.Comfy, but not the best quality sandals I've ever had

I love the style of these sandals, so much so that I have 4 pairs in different colours (bought over the years). Love the width of the straps and the chunky buckle. They are so comfy, literally straight from the box. I love having different colours to go with different outfits and wear them summer long. The leather is soft but sturdy. Thoroughly recommend these sandals.

Love these sandals, have 2 pairs, khaki and dark blue. I would really like some in paler colours too, a light sand, beige, stone or possibly white. Dark ones don’t go with everything and not very keen on some of the shades. Find them so comfortable compared to other well known brands as bend with foot. Please bring out new shades,

Not exaggerating when I say that these are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. As always with Moshulu the quality is spot on and the sizing is perfectly consistent. I’ve already purchased my second pair!

I deliberated for a very long time about which sandals to buy. Firstly, ignore my review if you have beautiful narrow feet or even wide feet that are a nice shape (sort of straight at the sides) as these sandals have a gorgeous springy footbed and the uppers are made of lovely soft leather. The buckles are really nice too. So you might think - What's her problem? Well, I have bunions more pronounced on one foot than the other. So, I did my research on the web page and looked up all the sandals Moshulu recommends for wide feet. I thought the Danube looked good because they have adjustable buckles - cool right? I could adjust the width to have comfort on both feet. I read all the reviews and one person was saying they were too narrow for her. Moshulu had responded by saying that it was a shame about that and that she should try the Bavaria sandal (this one) as it was a wider fitting. And here is where the problem lies. Yes, I can adjust the buckle but.....It is the footbed that is the problem. It is a set shape that is rigid and built up on the outside all the way around the foot. It goes in a straight line from heel to toe and it doesn't matter where I put the setting of the buckle that ridge just digs into my bones on the little toe side of both of my feet and the big toe side of one of them. It's a rigid shape and it's digging into my bones. I can't return them because I have been wearing them for a week because of the 'break them in, they will become softer' advice. I really feel like I've been mis-sold these sandals. I would love to be able to buy strappy sandals they are not recommended for wide fittings and were too much of a gamble with my feet. I thought I would be safe with these ones as I have a pair of your Harmonica sandals and they are ok. I just don't understand the cut-out shape at the bottom of this particular shoe and why it is so rigidly built up at the sides. They are very unforgiving. I'm so disappointed I was hoping they would be a favourite for years. They look like a shoe that is built for comfort and long walks etc. I guess I lucked out on this one.
