No wearing-in period required, they’re instantly comfortable and soften up the more they’re worn. I live in them through Spring - Autumn and they’ve lasted through 2 seasons despite constant use. Great value. I did try Birkenstocks last summer, I prefer the style of their sandals as they’re slightly slimmer (soles, leather bands etc.) and they sell black in most styles - but I sent them straight back as they were not at all comfortable. So, Moshulu, please please keep making the Bavaria sandal. And please don’t withdraw the black option, which is great for professional summer wear as well as being simply my favourite shoe colour!”
