“Bought these sandals for my impending holiday after seeing great reviews. Had been wearing them around the house and they are extremely comfortable (as comfy as Birkenstock). So in preparation for my holiday I thought I’d treat them with stain protector as I do with my Birkenstock’s. Helps keep the insole clean and protects from and damage on holiday. Very disappointed as the leather is NOT colourfast. My beautiful brown sandals turned all pinkish and spreckly. Had to use tan shoe polish on them to try to rescue them. Definitely not near perfect now but are sort of presentable. So very disappointed as I’d thought, great a cheaper option to Birk’s and every bit as nice and comfortable.”
