“I have just had to replace all my shoes due to surgery which has changed my gait. I had some Seville sandals for years and I love them. They are so soft and comfortable to walk in, and because your toe is so securely held there is no sliding around in them when you walk. I treated myself to a bright pink and rose gold pair. “These sandals are labelled “comfort”, but for me the reverse is true. Firstly, they are slightly narrow and there is minor overlap of my little toe. Having previously bought a wonderful pair of Moshulu boots, I expected the width to be a little more generous. Secondly, there is absolutely no “give” in the leather, so in hot weather (which is when one tends to wear sandals!), they become uncomfortable. Thirdly, the edges of the leather are quite hard and tend to chafe my big toe. On the positive side, they look very nice.
