“A darker brown than I expected- think very dark chocolate brown, which is very classy looking. May have difficulty finding a bag that dark to match, but isn't putting me off the boots. I was between 2 minds-to get these in black or brown, but the chocolate brown is just that bit nicer looking in my opinion. Felt a bit " hard" when I first put them on, but will soften in time. Very pleased, and the sale price is a bargain for a long boot.”
“This is a long story..... over the last ten years I have had seven major operations on my ankles. Each time, shoe shopping has been high on my post op bucket list but sadly, the necessary improvement in pain and function has never reached the point where it's been possible or worthwhile. I spent last winter in flipflops because that's all my feet would allow. After op number 7 in September I decided things would be different and I would grab the six month window of opportunity that always follows the surgery when it looks as if it's all going well, to treat myself to some much needed new footwear. A friend had recommended Moshulu so I had a look......and have purchased Swallow in purple and Pipistrelle in black! If Swallow had been in my size in black then I'd never have bought the purple but luckily purple was the only colour left. They are gorgeous, more burgundy than purple but soft and comfortable and I think my ankle will let me wear them, at least for a while. I am going to enjoy them while I can and yes, they do make me smile, every time I look at them! Thank you Moshulu, I hope to be back for some sandals before long......oh, Pipistrelle are lovely too but they are my sensible option. Will be back for more colours next year, ankles permitting!”

“Really lovely long boots, the purple is a lovely deep plum colour. Around the feet felt quite stiff when first wearing them, but after two trips out in them the leather has softened and they are extremely comfortable, just what I was looking for.”

“This is my second pair of Swallow boots - the first are still going strong though! The first pair I ordered were the Rainstorm and more recently I bought the Chocolate. They are THE most comfortable boots and look amazing too. The inside fabric of the boots is a quirky little touch and adds a more luxurious feel. I must also mention Customer Services who went out of their way to help me get my size. The lady who initially emailed me was super helpful, and the lady I spoke to on the phone was chatty, friendly and also very helpful - a real credit to the company.Please don't ever stop making these Boots Moshulu!”
“This is my second pair of boots recently ordered from Moshulu. One lot were mid-calf and these of course are long boots.I love the colour and the sole is much more comfortable than the thin soles often with Moshulu boots, but I cannot find longer boots in your range which fit my average size 10 slim calves?. So disappointing, but I need to wear these with tights and sadly, even with long socks and slim fit trousers, they are still too loose. I therefore will seek out a different company. SO SAD , as I love the style.”
