“I wanted some ankle boots, but they had to be soft, blue, and leather. Originally, I sent for Misty in a size 7. Too big, leather too hard and generally not what I had hoped for. I emailed Moshulu and asked their advice, after returning said boots. They suggested Bourbon 2. Normally I would take a size 7, but with my previous experience, went down half a size. They fit perfectly, are nice and soft, and exactly what was required. Wore them for the first time today, and they were admired. “Just received Bourbon boots and straight-away absolute total comfort. Wearing them indoors as they are just like slippers and soon they will be tested on London street walking for 10 days. Difficult to imagine any outdoor shoe/boot being more comfortable. Will report later on "endurance" for town walking!! Thank you!!”
“These looked to me like something you could buy in a charity shop for a couple of pounds. The worn appearance on the toe area made them look old and scruffy. The brown colour was not a nice shade in person. I could feel no cushioning, at all, under foot. Even though there was supposed to be. “Perfect fit as always and very comfortable but I can't cope with the shiny toes. It looks like they are old boots which are very badly worn. Also the colour is duller than I expected. “Love these, especially as I have to wear orthopaedic insoles and these have a removable insole so mine fit perfectly. I think they are the only ankle boots Moshulu do with a removable insole? Incredibly comfortable, beautiful leather. Can't wait for Autumn.”
“Brilliant little boots, on my third pair, keep feet warm and so comfy, only downside is you can get wet feet due to stitching, but I just wear something else if wet.”
