“I purchased the Blackcurrant pair (as well as several others!) and love the comfort of these boots. The choice of colours is good too. However when it came to cleaning my cherished boots I made the mistake of using the coloured polish offered by Moshulu thinking that would be the best care. Sadly the boots have now turned a maroon brown so have lost their funky much loved appearance and on looking on the site for any other polish, I found a review for the same issue and Moshulu’s response stated to use wax! So when you buy these super boots please ensure that you don’t make the same mistake as me and so only use wax to keep them looking good for longer. That’s the only reason I marked these down.”
“I am really delighted with these boots which arrived very quickly and the colour (grey but with a touch of purple and a bright jade green lining), the style and texture of the leather are great. I have big, broad, bony feet and high insteps which is why I always go for Moshulu boots as they generally fit well and are not too much of a struggle to get my feet into! However, I found that these boots have quite a hard area at the back of the heel which rubbed, and I have worked on them to warm and soften them which has improved the hardness. I hope that they will stretch slightly and soften more with wear. I realised too late that I should have added wax to my order, and I'm a bit stuck now as I'm really not prepared to pay another £3.99 for postage! I'll see if I can find something similar at the local cobblers.”
