Moshulu CARAMEL size: 3, colour: GREY Reviews

4.8 Rating 412 Reviews
These slippers are so comfortable. I love that the elastic gives that extra bit of security for on the stairs etc. I do however have a couple of niggles. The fabric pils and causes bobbles which I invariably have to trim off. Also they are so expensive. I truly believe a more apt price would mid approx £25. I’ve bought them in a variety of colours over the years. Lovely slippers but pricey in my opinion.

I have been wearing these lovely ballet slippers for years, and treat myself to a new pair when they (eventually) wear out. They are pretty, colourful, practical (the strap makes them safe) and I just love them!

I love these ballet slippers and buy replacement pairs every few years (I work from home so wear them pretty much all day every day and they last forever! My main concern comes from bobbling). They are so pretty, lightweight and slim, with a thin, flexible yet waterproof sole - perfecting for moving around the house but also nipping outside. The strap can be a bit tight so not for everyone but I like how they keep my slippers in place (I've also learnt this neat trick where I put my toes over the slipper but under the strap so they stay on but my painted nails can dry!!!). Size-wise: I'm normally a 39 but I've learnt to buy a Moshulu 40 because in my first pair my big toe poked against the material and eventually caused holes! (This review process doesn't actually offer me to vote on the sliding bars so my review may say 'fit is true to size' but that's not true.) Also, the insoles have no padding (no memory foam) so be aware of that.

I love these slippers - have had loads of them in all the different colours over the years. The strap is why I buy them - seems safer with a strap and no clenching of toes to keep them on!! Strap size is just perfect for me so wouldn’t like to see you change them!

This is my fourth pair of Caramel slippers, I tend to wear a pair most of the time indoors and even slip them into a bag to take to a friend's house. However. The sizing HAS changed! My first two pairs of size 4s were fine, then for the third they got smaller (my own feet haven't grown since I started wearing these!) and I think I had to size up (then they were a bit too large!). This, my fourth pair which I just got for Christmas, is also a shade too small for size 4 and I'll have to stretch them. In all pairs the elastic has been too tight, and I have really bony, skinny feet! Again, I'll try to stretch the band - Moshulu, WHY do you persist with these tight bands?? We who like Caramels obviously want a band to hold the shoe on the foot but so many reviews say it's too tight - why not listen to your customers and do something to the design? They're now about £15 more than when I started wearing them, which is a huge hike - you really need to listen to us!

I have been wearing these slippers for over ten years, different pairs. Buy them usually on sale, they are not cheap but worth their weight in gold. I put mine in a wash bra bag and throw them in the washing machine, they come out like new. So comfy.

These are pretty and well made. However the elastic really hurt my feet. I tried pulling and stretching , but it digs in. I've ended up cutting off the straps and sewing on some softer elastic and now they are great. Some other reviews have mentioned it. The soft flat type of elastic would be better than what's currently used.
