“I bought these sandals thinking that with the adjustable touch fastening strap across the toes I would be able to adjust them for my wide arthritic feet. So I was disappointed when they arrived to find the neoprene under-strap was solid and not adjustable. However with a careful snip and over-stitching the cut edges I modified the sandals to fit my feet. I can now wear them anywhere”
“I love these plus the similar ones that have a split on the strap over the foot I live in them and buy a pair every year to replace my oldest pair. I need the thick soles to protect my under foot which can get sore post surgery. They are perfect. I hope they never stop production of this style.”
“I bought these by mistake instead of the very similar Avon. They look much the same, but not quite as comfortable. The connecting area of strap to upper is on the point of the arch and pinched a bit at first but they've improved with walking in. I've ordered another pair of Avon.”
“Bought in the sale so a very good price.These are lovely & comfortable, have been able to walk for quite a time with no discomfort. Also good for driving as secure on the foot. Velcro straps so easily adjustable but suspect would still be too roomy for very narrow feet though perfectly ok for up to an E fitting.Not a "dressy" sandle by any means but for comfort, perfect.”
“After this long hot summer, much to my distress I managed to finally wear out my 2 pairs of elderly Moshulu sandals, the soles finally cracking widthways. After much searching to replace them exactly and unable to do so, I finally plumped for a pair of Aire sandals which are vaguely similar. As I am becoming increasingly arthritic I need ease of use and comfort and durability, (dog walking and uneven garden). Arrival of new sandals was suitably prompt, but after initial disappointment as I thought they would rub and not be supportive and robust enough, now that I have worn them in, I can say that I have quite changed my mind, and they are fast becoming favourites.”
