“This boot looks great and I'm generally happy with it but the low rating is purely because of the treads - they're so smooth it's almost as if they're second hand; so smooth in fact that the pavement doesn't even need to be wet for me to be able to slip them along and I actually almost slipped over yesterday on the wet pavement! This is quite unusual for a LOWA boot and I'm pretty glad I didn't buy them for actually walking up hills or any real trekking as they simply wouldn't be safe. I'd love to rate them higher but for this reason I can't unfortunately.”
