“First wear today on my first Munro. They were amazing. I tried on at least 10 pairs of boots before settling on these. Initially thought too expensive but by a long way the best fit and worth every penny. Light and waterproof they were perfect for a trek up Ben Vorlich today. Looking forward to many more walks. Highly recommend, don’t bother looking elsewhere and yes the are worth the extra cost”

“I’ve had these boots for about 4 months now and walked over 100 miles in them. I have slim feet but suffer from bunions so finding a good fit is tricky. These have been perfect. They’ve been completely waterproof, even when I nearly lost one in a moorland bog. The leather has soften slightly to make them super comfortable, it feels like I’ve had them years. The locking cleats mean you can fasten them looser around the foot but nice and tight around the ankle, or vice versa, whatever your preference. I usually wear a size 4 shoe but ended up with a size 5 boot, which gives me options for socks in summer and winter. So far I’ve walked in very warm 28 deg C weather, my swollen feet have felt extremely comfortable even after 11 miles. I decided to write the review after a very cold and wet walk on kinder scout today where I thought I could never be without these boots. I ordered multiple sizes and fittings initially to find the right fit, and the LOWA customers service and returns policy was excellent. Thank you.”
