“Just received mine and as other people state these are not wide fitting at all. Measuring them against my normal boots that I cannot wear they are the same if not smaller....such a shame. Make them wide please as advertised!”

Hi Samantha, Thanks for your review, but sorry to hear the wide fit Renegade wasn't quite the right fit for your foot. Looking from the outside, the sole unit etc. will be the same size on the wide fit as the standard fit, so to the naked eye they will appear to be the same. The difference comes in the volume of the fit inside the boot, with the wide fit having more space across the top of the foot, around the sides, and in the heel as well. Thanks, LOWA UK

“I have yet to do any proper mileage in these and they are probably overkill for the trails that I intend to do, however, being cursed with the most enormous feet (long but not wide) it is just wonderful to not have to wear men's shoes or feel pressure on my "almost" bunion. I have never seen any walking boots designed for women in any sizes bigger than an 8 UK. They feel so supportive and comfortable that I can't wait to get out there in them :) Thank you Lowa! I hope my knees will thank you too!”
