I've had mine for 7 years now. The inside sole is not as soft as it used to be and I don't live in them like the first 2 years, but they still serve me well hiking and hunting. They have worked hard. Mine has been in the winter Alps as well as hot South Africa and it kept me comfortable in both hot and cold weather. Being waterproof, it kept me warm and dry. Despite the time, they still look great, so I've compromised the loss of soft inside with a thin insole as I refuse to let them go. When I replace them, it will be with the exact same thing.

Been a Lowa man for years and these have done nothing to change that. Worn year round through bog and ice and blistering heat, up glens and rock walls to hill tops all over. Never an issue.
