The benchmark for trekking fit and comfort. The upper is designed with LOWA Flex® lacing which allows the laces to easily pull through the ballbearing lace loops that are set on free moving tabs, reducing overall pressure against the foot. Durably waterproof/breathable.

These boots are very comfy but the Badia were lighter and just more suited to me so I return them. Lowa online Customer Service Team has to be highlighted. Received some excellent advice re the most suitable boots for my needs, delivery was so quick to Northern Ireland and refund issued very promptly. A very personal service which isn’t always easy to get online. Lowa has got a new customer for life.

As a guide I have now walked the West Highland Way twice with the Renegade but found them too soft. Spoke to Lowa and they recommended this boot. Pros Solid Robust Quite stiff Great lacing Good protection around the toe Cons For the West Highland Way, probably not enough cushioning but I replaced the insoles for cushioned one. Made a big difference. I have 5 pairs of Lowa boots and they don’t disappoint.
