“I teach guys to cook for pleasure - just a group that love food. They have come from homes where, in the main, their partners cook. They are loving trying out and learning lots of new things.
One thing is the difference in ingredients - usually comparing poorer to better quality. Having given them all a 1kg bag of salt and asked them to compare foods/meals using this and 'common table salt' they were all, bar one (who has a problem in defining any tastes and has a rubbish palate) amazed that the intensity of the Himalayan pink salt meant they used less and tasted more of the foods. Small change, great difference!”
“It's salt from the Himalayas...someone's dug it up and exported it and I now ingest it.
What more is there to say? Oh, it will have been dissolved in a sea long ago.”
