“I like this product,sinks in quickly glides on and face feels well protected,not heavy or oily,so good to have a decent SPF 50 when needed. have deducted one star as not received my full order,still waiting but apparently on its way.I ordered the new product Amil C SPF 30 but received SPF 20,then said the SPF30 was out of stock but showing available on website.I have had a issue like this with another order,but I’m sure it will be resolved soon ,the customer service is good.”

“So far so good - no reaction at all which is a definite plus as my skin is very sensitive at the moment. I was worried it wouldn't sink in, as after first applying my face was very shiny but after half an hour was a sheen and after an hour a very, very subtle sheen (no white cast). Doesn't feel at all heavy after it's applied - it did feel a bit grainy as applying (put on after M1) but again once it had sunk in just felt lovely and smooth. I don't wear make up so can't comment on how it works under foundation. Very happy as wanted a UK sunscreen with eco friendly packaging and this one definitely ticks that box.”

“This is not and elegant spf what so ever, definitely wouldn’t recommend for oily sensitive skin, feels super heavy, hard to remove which could cause breakouts and also left my eyes super irritated and red. I’m a huge fan of face theory and was excited this product, definitely disappointed! This spf should not be marketed for all skin types and should detail the finish it gives as it leaves you super shiny and the white cast is super obvious.”

“I absolutely love how it is formulated, silky on the skin and leaves no white cast (I am brown skinned). My skin feels hydrated and protected. I have been trying to find a mineral sunscreen and honestly this is the best so far and its affordable!”

“Didn’t suit my skin type unfortunately. It really is very balm-like and unfortunately felt quite heavy and greasy on my skin. It feels like an ointment. I rubbed it in for almost 5 minutes but couldn’t get it to sink in so had to wash it off after around half an hour as it felt uncomfortable on my face and there was no way I could apply make up over it. However I am giving 2 stars as the packaging is really good and super eco friendly. The high protection is great and the ingredients are so good and don’t sting your eyes. Not really any noticeable white cast either! I really wanted to like it as I am a huge Face Theory fan and have bought many of their products since 2017 but this just didn’t agree with my oily skin. I personally prefer a thin liquid that goes completely invisible within a couple of minutes so I can apply make up soon after. I hope Face Theory bring out a thinner SPF in the future that isn’t a balm and has a thin texture more suited to oily skin! This is perhaps better suited to more drier skin types. Face theory refunded me straight away. Can never fault their customer service! Thank you so much!”

“Lovely ro apply, leaves skin feeling soft almost like a moisturiser and no white cast or sticky oily feeling after. I always struggle with facial sunscreen as I prefer more cosmetically elegant formulations and they tend to be either imported from japan or are very expensive! This ticks all my boxes so far, cosmetically elegant, affordable, spf 50 and broad spectrum. Vegan and a UK company with recyclable packaging makes it even better!”
