I have been looking for a mineral sunscreen that doesn't peel off or leaves a white cast for a long time. Amazingly, this product does not leave any white cast. However, it does leave a very shiny film that makes my face look like I am heavily perspiring. I will unfortunately not be using it as I prefer the white cast of my previous sunscreen over the shininess of this one, but thought it would be unfair to rate it less than 4-stars as I suppose it's a good product in all other regards: it's vegan, mineral, and easy to apply due to its thin consistency. If you happen to like the super glowy look, then this may be the perfect product for you.

Leaves only a slight oily residue (better than others I have tried) and a little goes a long way so the tube will last.

I was pleasantly surprised with this, it's a balm, but feels sooo nice on the skin! Also, Facetheory custmer services are second to none so I highly recommend them!

PROS: · A silky, easily spread; · Suitable for face and body; · Non-nano broad-spectrum protection; · Recommended for most skin types, including sensitive skin; · Quickly absorbs into skin leaving a satiny sheen; · Minimal whitening and chalkiness; · Vegan/ Cruelty-free; · Formulated without alcohol; · Fragrance free; · Low fungal acne possibility; · Recyclable packaging. CONS: · Aluminum tube is not the most comfortable to use; · Leaves an oily residue. This sunscreen has a heavier yellowish texture to it, and I can feel there is oil in the product. It has no scent which is great. When rubbed in, it does absorb well but it does leave a bit of an oily residue on the skin. It doesn’t irritate my skin or leave any white residue. I would prefer a bit lighter texture sunscreen for my face as I have combination skin already and it does tend to shine so with this is a double grease. Overall, even if it sinks in fast it does leave an oily residue which combo-oily skins would not appreciate. I believe it would be great for drier skin types. A plus for broad spectrum protection.

Wow! This was everything I expected. Totally blown away by this beautiful product. Goes on like a dream and works well with the FT foundation and blushes. I love it. So much so I have immediately bought another. Don’t want to run out.

I have oily, mature skin. I had been using factor 30 but with sweating during the summer and using photosensitive products it was not enough. Very happy with this sun cream. Not triggered breakouts. I have started adding a powder after applying but it’s fine if I’m just going for a walk. Unlike my other sun cream doesn’t cause me to sweat which is much more pleasant. Will definitely repurchase.

I’m really happy with this product. It does feel heavy & a tad greasy at first upon application. The same feeling after using a heavy night cream. After a few minutes it absorbs leaving a slightly dewy finish. It makes my skin feel really nicely moisturised. Any slight shine can then be corrected with my foundation & powder. I’m going to continue using this product as to get an SPF50 with great ingredients is hard to come by! I’d love for FaceTheory to create a translucent powder with SPF in as a top up!
