“I read the reviews before buying this and a few people said it was greasy. That was definitely not an understatement; this is like applying oil/grease to your face! I tried to leave it to settle which helped a little, although translucent is the only way to get rid of the shine. Shame, as I really wanted to love this!”

“I love Facetheory products but this sunscreen was just not for me. I don’t mind the oily consistency, but it gave me the worst acne breakout of the past few years. I also don’t like the fragrance it leaves behind - it smells of something like soap bubbles, and it’s not pleasant. Luckily, it’s the only product from the brand I’ve ever had an issue with.”

“While I know that this is common issue with most sunscreens and it does the trick of protecting my skin, the consistency was very oily and it left my face shiny. Since I don’t wear make up most days it was a very greasy look, even when using very little!”

“Prior to discovering this SPF I’d given up on a mineral sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast. This has no cast, absorbs easily and is affordable. It’s my new favourite sunscreen!”

“The product is far too oily for my normal skin. I have to apply it and then pat my face gently with a tissue to remove the excess oil. This is an issue because I may also be removing the zinc oxide as a result. I believe that some is left as my complexion remains a little paler after application, but can I be sure I get the spf I need? It's a worry.”

“I have dry skin, I used it once on my face and didn’t like that greasy feeling and applying makeup on top didn’t looked good, but I love and use this as my hand sunscreen.”
