“This sunscreen is not suitable for dark skin. This is a physical sunscreen which you apply last, after your serums and moisturiser, which is why I bought it. The listing states that it goes on white but it will absorb. That is not the case for darker skin, it stays ashy grey so I cannot use it. If you have fair skin I'm sure this will work for you. Facetheory support has been amazing as usual and have sent me the SPF 30 moisturiser as a replacement. I'm looking forward to trying it out. I see a lot of people have issues with this sunscreen for various reasons, always drop them an email if you're not happy with something as support are always super helpful.”

“I have mixed feelings about this. I have yet to find a good plasticfree and natural sunscreen that is high in SPF. I love that this is in a recycable aluminum tube and there's quite a lot of product in it. I can take it with me anywhere (also on the plane). The consistency is however rather oily. Once you apply it you need to wait about 15/20 minutes for your hands and face to become less oily. Afterwards it is okay. I have acne prone skin and it has not affected that luckily or made it worse. Therefore I still give it 4 stars. I hope to see a lighter version of this in the future with the same SPF.”

“A bit greasy and takes ages to absorb. A bit white cast. Although is fine for my skin tone ( toffee colour) but may not be so nice for any darker skin tone. Although I must say the white cast disappears. It doesn't feel heavy which is great. There is also a lot in the tub so good for the price. Please improve the product so it is not so oily and shiny. Otherwise this A good spf. smells a bit like the vitamin c serum which I don't mind.”

“It´s really difficult to formulate a non-greasy sunscreen. I wish there would be more water-solluble substances to make the cream a little bit less pastous. It feels think and oily when I apply this on my face. After 20minutes it still hasn´t been absorbed into the skin and I have very dry skin. I tried different methods to apply this: 1) with all my morning routine 2) with some of my morning routine 3) directly after cleansing Nothing worked. The good think is, that it does not smell bad. However, I am not sure how to ever use this even with my dry skin, which usually soaks in everything. After an hour the cream kind of glides down on my face. That´s not a nice feeling at all. It would be great if this sunscreen had a similiar texture like the amil-c whip SPF30. Maybe it would be great as well to substitute the ricinus oil (aloe, sheabutter, arganoil, squalan oil) and add some goodies (niacinamide, allantoin, panthenol, vitamin c, green tea extract). And if there will be a purely mineral sunscreen, that would be great! It´s unfortunate that I can´t give more stars. However, I really can´t imagine how to use this one on the face with any skin type and with make-up afterwards. It will do a good job as sunscreen for the body. However, that would be a bit expensive.”

“Offers beautiful coverage and protection but I’d quite thick and greasy so leaves a shine to the skin. My skin type didn’t react well and broke out however would be perfect for those with dryer skin or for use on a beach where effective protection is required”

“BEST SUNSCREEN. Was looking for a cleaner chemical sunscreen for the longest time. Had to order this as soon as it was released by Facetheory. It is so good, gives you an amazing glow and the packaging makes it easier to carry and use it HYGIENICALLY without having to touch the rest of the product.”

“I was so excited and happy that Facetheory released spf 50 so I ordered a couple of them and for my face and body just not work it was to greasy on my face neck.. so I decided to change it for the new whip spf 30 and is amazing! I give 4 stars because of costumer service they help me with all the exchange orders etc..”
