“I use quite a few different oils depending on how my skin is behaving and this is the newest one I’ve added to my routine. I wanted an oil I could use in the day time and this one is perfect because it isn’t too heavy and I can use under make-up. It’s a translucent green in colour and doesn’t really have a smell. I find it to be hydrating and will definitely be buying more when it runs out (which will be ages as it’s a large bottle). I’m in my late 40s.”

“Bought this for my partner who have had a lot of issues with dry and flakey areas around nose and eyebrows. They use it in combination with Aventhra Moisturiser M2, the oil if they are extra dry and it works well to give less redness and dry spots. Personal preference: I like the natural spicey scent of this product.”

“Very very hydrating. I usually use it on my whole body after shower as I have quite easily-irritated skin. Without the oil my body would start getting itchy 1-2 hours after applying cream, whereas with oil (followed by the cream) it feels supple and hydrated all night and the morning after! My skin feels so smooth and soft in the morning. Also calms my skin too. At first usage there are some white granules in the oil and the pipette got blocked up very easily. But then I just kept pumping and shook the bottle rigorously. Now it is fine and hasn't gotten blocked up since. The smell is quite pungent not gonna lie. Hence the 4 stars not 5. Even with fragranced body cream I can still smell the oil. Hopefully there will be a scented version soon.”

“Very disappointed with the Tamanu oil. The oil was black and grainy and had a weird curry like smell , pipette was clogged up with gunk . Poured the contents away and threw the bottle in the bin. s”

“Das Öl zieht schnell ein. Die antibakterielle/antientzündliche Wirkung ermöglichte es mir endlich, nach vielen Jahren meine Metronidazol Creme abzusetzen, die bei Rosacea und Akne hilft. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass die alten Narben besser werden. Benutze das Öl nur nachts. Leider ist der Geruch sehr intensiv, besonders für andere. Nach ca. 2 Stunden verfliegt er zwar etwas, aber ist schade. Nur deshalb ein Stern Abzug. Sonst bin ich von der Wirkung absolut überzeugt!”

“Product is 100% original Tamanu oil, I bought this because Liah yoo (krave beauty) used this for hyperpigmentation and it’s not the great barrier relief serum at 10% concert (which is much more expensive than the FT oil). However be warned this is just an oil and isn’t cosmetically elegant i.e. it’s greasy, slightly pungent, leaves stains, which is the trade off for getting an amazing ingredient at 100% concentration. I personally can’t use it every night but I do notice any active acne fades quickly when I apply a thin layer at night.”

“This is the best oil I have ever used for my face. I have eczema on a regular basis, this oil does not sting or irritate them. I also get very flaky skin too. I use this on top of the my other moistures, it has helped to keep my skin moisturized for much longer.”
