Very nice gentle exfoliant. Love it . I am 41 with very dry, sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate or over dry skin.

This is the perfect exfoliant if you have sensitive skin. I actually use it 3 times a week and my skin loves it!

So far so good, it doesn’t irritate my skin and applies nicely though too early to see any dramatic results! Marking down a star because there’s no mention of this serum not being safe for pregnancy on the website (and according to many credible sources, Mandelic acid and Niacinamide are totally fine for pregnancy anyway) yet when it arrived there was a stark and alarming looking warning in the leaflet not to use during pregnancy or check with a doctor. I checked with FaceTheory who said there’s no known issues with this product and they use this warning for all products containing high concentrations of acids (except the Vit C serum has a less serious warning, comparison in the photos). I think they could differentiate between products that are pregnancy-safe and that really aren’t such as retinols. A GP wouldn’t even know what these ingredients are, only retinols, so which doctor would I ask? Should I pay £250 to speak to a consultant dermatologist?? We have to rely on pharmaceutical and beauty companies to check the research and let us know so I t’s a little irritating to have a blanket “don’t use just in case” because the producer doesn’t want to bother checking, and if this is FaceTheory’s approach then they should put the same warning on the website so pregnant people can avoid buying in the first place and instead use a brand that does research and pass on the relevant information.
