Hi We are so sorry to hear that you had a reaction. There are many elements that can increase sensitivity or cause irritation. For example, it may be a specific ingredient in the formula to which you are allergic, or an active ingredient which is simply too potent for your skin. “Y'all this stuff is the BOMB! It's SO good. Particularly for skin of colour as it's effective without causing irritation. To explain, I've struggled with hyperpigmentation for the past 3.5 years, and wasted so much money on the wrong products. And my skin would be easily irritated. I started listening to Dr Vanita online, and this is one of the products she recommended. I've been using this for almost 2 weeks, and I've seen the biggest change in my skin. I can barely see the hyperpigmentation. I only use this once per day with a 100% mineral sunscreen on top. I use a very gentle cleanser & gentle moisturizer too. I'm gonna try the C30, and will write an update there in a few months.”

“Got this as a gift for Xmas, excellent serum helped me with both acne discolouration as well as improvement of overall skin look. Works well under makeup but would make a great night time serum too!”
