“This literally does what it says on the tin and worked immediately. I usually have dry cheeks and dry patches around my nose, but an oily forehead, so I was dubious about adding more oil but knew I needed something. One hot day recently I was in the garden too long and even though I'd applied sunscreen my cheeks were red and they became really dry and almost flaky and felt like leather. This was the push I needed to buy this product and I'm so glad I did. I used it in the evening after cleansing and before my moisturiser (also facetheory, relaxing night cream), and I could feel the soothing and calming effects straight away. Most serums I've tried before seemed to sit on the skin but I could feel this sinking in, and didn't leave my face oily or wet. I put my moisturiser on about ten minutes later. After 3 days the texture of my cheeks changed to soft, the redness and flakiness had gone, and then I started using it all over my face not just on my cheeks. My forehead didn't react or go more greasy (I actually think it's less greasy). After 2 weeks of just evening use my face feels softer and skin looks more 'glowy' but not in a greasy way. My only negative is the bottle is a little fiddly, the serum is quite thick and a dark colour and a bit sticky on your hands, so when I drop a few drops (that's all you need) onto my hands I'm then a bit stuck as to whether I apply it and then put the lid back on or whether to put the lid on (with liquid on my hands still). Anyway either way it's a bit messy and I've noticed the bottle has became a bit sticky and I have to be careful about where I put it down because of off-run of product on my bedside table. BUT glass is better for the environment than a plastic pump so I will live with it! Shame maybe the glass bottle can't have a pump? “It is probably a bit too soon to say if it's working or not, but I enjoy using it as part of my evening ritual. My skin does feel smoother and the orange colour does give the skin a good glow boost.”
