“Unfortunately I did not like this product at all. The smell was horrible and overpowering and it just sat on top of my skin and never seemed ‘soak in’. It’s definitely not something I would ever recommend.”

“The new packaging is not good. The metal from the screw lid seems into the product and the moisturiser used to come in a glass jar which is meant to be better for vitamin c products.”

We’re sorry to hear that you’ve experienced issues with the screw lid and that the transition from a glass jar has not met your expectations. Looking at our records, we can see that you have been able to raise your concerns with our customer service team, and they have been able to resolve the matter by providing a refund and a replacement free of charge. Aluminium tubes offer better protection against light, air and environmental contamination than glass jars. This is important for preserving vitamin C, which is sensitive to light and oxygen exposure. Aluminium tubes are more hygienic than jars, as they dispense products without contaminating the remaining contents. With jars, there's a risk of introducing bacteria each time you open and dip into them. Thanks Facetheory Team

“Oddly, I came across this moisturiser in a dream. When I awoke I knew I needed to find it and so googled best moisturiser in a tube and there it was even down to the same smell! The moisturiser is really good and soaks in quickly and is a great base for my foundation.”
