“I love almost all of the Facetheory products I have tried. However, the one thing I don't like is this Cera-C Pore Reducing Toner. I prefer toners to be refreshing and to provide a clean, toned base in which I can then apply my serums/moisturiser. However, I wasn't aware the formula would be quite gel-like, as opposed to traditional toners which are of a watery-consistency. Due to this, I find it to be too thick to use as a toner. It would perhaps work better for dry skin types (I have immensely oily skin) because it is quite moisturising. Since I don't want to be skipping out on my serums and moisturisers, I have switched to another toner brand as I fear that all Facetheory toners will be the same - texture-wise. In addition, I've noticed I break out in spots whenever I use it. I have a feeling it is due to the ceramides, although I'm not 100% sure why. They die down once I stop using the toner and come back if I start using it again (which is how I know it's the toner causing the spots.) Other points: - The scent is fine, smells like aloe vera and that's pretty much it. - Comes in a dark amber glass bottle, giving it a luxurious feel (which is great considering the affordable price) I really wanted to love this product, which is why I used it so much despite the texture and breaking out. But it has come to a point where I just have to accept this product is not for me. Will stick to my rose water/witch hazel toners from other brands!”

Thanks for the great feedback. We've taken an approach that avoids astringent ingredients like witch hazel and alcohol - so cera-c definitely has different feel to those. Please contact us for a refund or alternative product :) Jamie

“I have really large pores and oily skin but after using this product for about 2 weeks I really started to notice a big improvement! I will Be repurchasing this product. I love that it’s all natural and the glass bottle is environmental friendly!”

“I just like how this does not sting at all and I really feel like it really preps my skin for the rest of the products I put on after this toner. My skin is less dry but I can't say if I can attribute it directly to this toner or because this is a part of my overall (mostly Facetheory) regimen. What I do like is the texture because I don't need to use cotton anymore and just apply this directly on to my skin!”
