I really enjoy this product. It has an opaque creamy texture, slightly thinner and lighter than a lotion, that sinks effortlessly into the skin leaving a non-greasy natural finish. I use it am and pm as a cap to the serum part of my routine before retinal and moisturizer and it works beautifully in this regard, really helps my serums absorb well. I trust it to be gentle while still working as a brightening agent for my complexion. I have also used Paula’s Choice Azelaic Acid Booster and I prefer the texture of the Face Theory.

Like this serum very much. Get to know this brand from ‘Madaboutskin’ and decided it to give it a try. I love the texture of the serum and I used to have small pimples below my neck and on my chin. After applying this serum for one week, most of the pimples became smaller or gone.

I have acne and rosacea and have been using this along with the exaglow serum for almost 4 weeks and my skin has improved so much. It looks and feels a lot smoother and less irritated. Side note: my first package was completely smashed by fedex and one of my bottles was shattered. I emailed support and within the next hour they replied and sent me a replacement. Excellent customer service.

I'm 60+ with combination skin that has sun damage and acne scarring and have been using azelaic acid to work on those issues and to brighten and even out my skin texture generally, alternating between Lumizela and Paula's Choice Azelaic Acid Booster. I prefer the Facetheory; it has a creamy liquid texture that instantly absorbs into the skin without any stickiness or tack, plays well with other products and is just a more elegant formulation than the PC in my opinion (plus it costs less). I've been using Lumizela for about four months once a day in the morning (I use the PC in the evening) and have never experienced any irritation. It has helped to smooth my texture and brighten my skin tone and I expect it will help with my sun damage and scarring in the longer term. I love this product, love using it, and my skin loves it so I'm in it for the longer term. Unless you have sensitivity issues I don't think you can go wrong incorporating azelaic acid into your routine, it just has so much potential to do good things for your skin over time.

I have been using this serum for almost 2 week now and am loving it. It gives a nice glow to my face. The consistency is better than the ordinary azelaic acid. Absorbs quickly very moisturing for my dry skin. Just one pump is good for my face. People with oily to normal skin can even skip the moisturizer after applying this. Skin appears little smoother than before but not seen any changes in my hyperpigmentation yet.

I was skeptical buying this product but wanted to try it out. It has already started working and my skin feels so much better and this after only a few uses. It has worked on the roughest parts of my face so I will definitely be purchasing this again.
