“Really light, sinks in quickly, 2 pumps is all I need for thorough coverage of my face and neck. Love that there are no fatty alcohols, oils (even Jojoba breaks me out) or silicone and lots of skin soothing ingredients. Will be stocking up to ensure I never run out!”

“An inexpensive product with great ingredients such as niacinamide, SAP and green tea. It’s ‘safe’ for those with fungal acne or seborrhoeic dermatitis - very happy it’s oil free! However I wish they hadn’t added salicylic acid and lactic acid in the ingredients as too many active exfoliating ingredients aren’t great for sensitive dehydrated skin so I can only use this in moderation (3 days a week). Also, niacinamide and salicylic acid perform best at different pH levels - so shouldn’t both be included. I apply it to my acne prone areas to help breakouts heal quicker. I hope facetheory create more oil free and fragrance free products suitable for sensitive skin and fungal acne but I’d prefer if they left out the active acids”

Hi Sian Interesting points - the salicylic acid isn't in there as an primary exfoliant so the pH point is a bit less relevant - at the level in this it should be pretty mild. It's actually a great preservative and saves us having to use a stronger anti-microbial. Jamie
