“Revolutionary and Magic! As a professional freelance makeup artist in my mid 40's, I'm fortunate in that I was blessed with perfect skin .....UNTIL I gave up smoking 6 months ago which has triggered a horrendous detox skin issue in the form of cystic acne. Acne in all its forms is distressing for the sufferer as it affects your confidence but it's also very painful at times. Having exhausted every trick in the book that I know and used all the products that I have used in the past that were tried and tested, nothing was working and calming my skin. Each spot seemed to get angrier, appeared super red and just wouldn't heal leaving awful marks on my face. However, on trying this AWESOME FaceTheory moisturiser, I can tell you it had an immediate calming, soothing effect and has stabilised the issue together with my current facewash and toner. “Although I like how this moisturiser feels and how quickly it absorbs into my skin, it has done absolutely nothing for me. My skin is very oily and I have seen no improvement after using this product for several weeks. Also, I feel that it has caused me more breakouts.”

Hi Alex This is a hydrating product and you may need an additional product to fight breakouts and oiliness. Take a look at Clarifying Cleanser C2 or C2-Pro to help with this. If in the meantime you'd like an exchange or refund please contact us at help@facetheory.com Jamie

“This moisturiser has loads of great ingredients in it but for my skin which is very oily it was a bit too drying and made my skin react/break out a bit. I much prefer face theory’s serums with niacinimide and al that jazz in as I find them less drying as you can then put a moisturiser on top”

“I've been using this moisturiser morning and evening for a couple of weeks. It took my a couple of days to work out how much to use - I have oily skin, and at first my skin wasn't reacting well to this. However, I've found that if I only use a very tiny amount my skin feels smooth and soft, without feeling greasy. My complexion looks brighter and fresher than before. Would love if the moisturiser was available in a glass container rather than plastic.”
