“I think my trainer was relatively new and inexperienced so I felt my service was very underwhelming and not up to the standard I am accustomed to. As a patron of the face gym since 2021, I have recommended services to many friends and raved about my experiences and results. This was the first time I felt truly disappointed, especially because I added on a buccal massage that resulted in my trainers finger nail repeatedly poking my cheeks to the point of marks. “Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude to your employee who allowed me a couple of minutes to take an urgent phone call upon my arrival. I appreciate her understanding.
Firstly, I had high expectations for the EMS treatment, given its reputation for powerful muscle and nerve stimulation. However, I must express my disappointment as the treatment was not as expected. It was extremely uncomfortable due to the pace at which it was administered.
In my understanding, this treatment should be approached with care, considering the sensitivity of various areas of the face. Unfortunately, during my session, I felt that the employee administering the treatment was rushing through it without the necessary attention and care. This left me unsatisfied and disappointed with the overall experience.
I believe that for such an intense and powerful facial treatment, a slow and attentive approach is crucial to ensure customer satisfaction and comfort.
Furthermore, the employee who was treating me displayed a concerning level of rudeness and abruptness. Specifically, when I raised the issue of the loud music and my opinion that it was an inappropriate genre for the treatment environment, her response was far from satisfactory. She informed me that the music selection was dictated by the headquarters, and she had no authority to change it or lower the volume. This response surprised me, as she explicitly stated that she couldn't make any adjustments.
What left me even more taken aback was that immediately after her statement, someone else did, in fact, change the song on the playlist due to another customer complaining about the genre and high level of music volume. This inconsistency in her response, along with her abruptness, made the situation uncomfortable and less than ideal.
I believe that the atmosphere and music in a treatment environment play a significant role in the overall experience. Given the nature of the treatments you offer, a more soothing and customer-centric approach to music and ambiance would greatly enhance the overall experience for your clients.
Additionally, I overheard staff members discussing another customer's frustration with the atmosphere, which made me uncomfortable.
After my visit, I received an email prompting me to leave a review on your main website. However, when I clicked on the link provided, it redirected me to the FaceGym main page without any option to leave a review. Recognising the importance of customer reviews for potential customers, I attempted to resolve this issue by contacting the Kings Road branch.
Regrettably, my experience with here was less than satisfactory. The staff member I spoke to was rude and unhelpful, providing me with an email address as the only solution. As a customer, I believe that I should have a straightforward and user-friendly way to leave a review on your main website for the benefit of both your business and potential clients.
I kindly request that you address this issue and ensure that your staff is trained to provide better support for customers facing similar challenges. Enabling customers to share their experiences through reviews is vital for building trust and transparency in your services.
