“I thought that what seemed to be fairly smooth bearings I had taken out of my bike could be put back in service after a thorough cleaning and regreasing - how wrong I was (never trust a retired mechanical engineer!). So installed these and the notchy action of the pivot lever had gone. Will it make me ride any better? Who knows but at least my mind is at rest.”
