“We stayed recently at The Rudloe Arms and had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was very large for a 'cosy' room and the 3 course evening meal left nothing to be desired - good choice and the perfect amount of food. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.”

“We stayed at the Rudloe Arms for two nights - the room in the main house was quirky and exactly what we expected. The food whilst a limited menu was delicious and the three courses were more than enough. Will definitely be staying again”

“It was a huge disappointment 3 course meal was extremely limited especially for a vegetarian ........ devilled eggs followed by fish cake not anything like the advert suggested....no calamari,wild duck, Cornish lobster....but fish cake and beef gnocchi which wasn't very pleasant. The hearty breakfast was also limited unless you were wanting to pay additional sums for a fruit juice (£5) and other items. The room itself was hardly an amenity filled room offering the modern luxuries in that there was a tv but it didn't work and although we reported it they weren't willing to come and see if they could work it....we were told people coming to the hotel didn't usually want to use the tv...so why have a huge one on the wall. Also the WiFi didn't work in our room , again we reported it and again we were told we had come to the country (we actually live in the country with excellent WiFi) and couldn't expect WiFi in the room Yes there was a bath, and a kettle but the coffee was unpleasant. Not what one would expect when booking an amenity filled room. We had a very stressful time, unable to do the work we had planned to do in our room because of no WiFi and felt very let down by the night away which was planned as a special occasion”

“Went to check in but as the merchant had changed their terms and conditions within the last week and failed to inform me. I was unable to enjoy the experience and check in. I’m now having to try and claim my money back as Wowcher are not answering any of my queries. As you can appreciate I am unable to give a positive review as everything is a negative.”

“Gave four stars because it’s a Beautiful and unique hotel. Like being in an art gallery. We stayed in a room in the second house but was stunning and decorated entirely with the Sex Pistols art work! Food was exceptional and the service from the restaurant staff was excellent. Only issue was the hidden charges .. supposed to be a three course meal on voucher but had to pay additional charge for potatoes and veg, water on table and a service charge ( which we would have happily paid but would have preferred to know upfront ) Breakfast extra charges including £5 for a glass of juice! Drinks in bar were also very pricy. After paying the initial £199 for the voucher ended up with a further £120 cost on my credit card.. so not quite the bargain I thought it might be.”
