“Firstly our waitress and the serving staff were find. Hower, my daughter and I ordered mushrooms in cheese sauce which took simply ages to come. We then checked the carvery and found that the beef and pork were finished. We were told that the beef would take another quarter of an hour to come out so we decided to wait. Apparently we heard that there had been a problem in the kitchen with the timing of the meat. Incidentally the pork never came out. When the beef came out we asked for it and the turkey and started to eat our meal but, despite the beef being slow cooked, it was fatty and chewy. After that we ordered icecream with a sauce and again it took ages to come. I would point out that we have been many times before and this is the first time we have had reason to complain, in fact we have boasted about how lovely the food is and how we always enjoyed going there.”
