“Had a really lovely meal here. (The Poachers Cottage), near Trentham Gardens. The lady who was our waitress was so very polite and helpful - wish Id thought to remember her name. The food was beautifully presented, very well cooked,nice and hot. I had the steak, which there was an increase in the price for this, I found it one of the best steaks ive ever had, very tasty and very well cooked (medium ). My friend had a vegetarian options, he really enjoyed it too. All in all a great meal, great service, I would highly recommend here as a great place to eat, a lovely vibe too, very popular.. We were there Friday early evening.”

“I had fish and chips for my main course and was not pleased with the chips over done and dry, plus the fish seemed to have been re- fried, making the batter dry and oily, should have complained but did not.”

“Sirloin steak not quite as good as previous time I visited. Still very good value for money when voucher used from Wowcher. Salad bar stocked up well and very fresh. Staff very friendly. Would recommend.”
