“Bannatyne Cardiff Elemis spa day and Prosecco cream tea was a great disappointment. It’s not really a spa experience, just treatment. No relaxation room to wait for your treatment. We had to wait in in reception waiting area. Sauna and steam room was busy and there was an aerobics class in the pool. Robes/towels had to be purchased (to rent). Tea was a mug with a tea bag and hot water in it. Scone was nice. Again, this had to be taken in reception waiting room. Most uncomfortable in damp towel! Not really s place for a spa day, having treatments there would be fine as the therapist was good. Definitely not a spa day experience!! Very disappointing !”

“Very happy with my back massage. The therapist asked my preferences in terms of the pressure and checked if I had any specific concerns. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Superb technique and I felt deeply relaxed at the end of my session. I'm very grateful Thank you”

“Unfortunately the use of the facilities was not very relaxing as due to it being a health everyone from the gym and public were using them too and it was very busy. The relaxation room and treatment was lovely but even with the discount this experience was not worth the price.”

“Diasapointing, read the small print! You get a better deal by booking direct with bannatynes if you want to go there. The “cream tea” is a plain scone with the option of whipped cream and jam. And sparkling tea is with the option of Prosecco (which was more worth it than tea) . You have to hire the robes at £8 with flip flops given to you. Most robes we had (we did swop) had holes in them. The TWO treatments offered we did not realise we had swopped for one, it’s two treatments for 25 minutes, so maybe best to just go for one treatment if choosing the Wowcher. As it does read as you get two treatments so you assume 2 x25 min treatments, but this is NOT the case. It was very busy. The actual treatments and spa area were very good and the pool facilities. Maybe, just take your own robes, book direct with bannatynes and ditch the uninspiring cream tea and go for a proper afternoon tea in Shrewsbury. It’s the last Wowcher I will be buying. A shame about the clarity of the deal and the wording.”
