“From a safety aspect, it should be attached in some way to the rest of the grill, not just "sat on".
Great to use and much better cooking than an electric oven.”
“This is a well-made item and has a very strong/powerful rotisserie motor. The switch on the motor is a bit fiddly and we found it easier to just unplug the item from the power source. For us, the problem with the Rotisserie unit comes about, because it does not fit snugly into our 57 cm Weber, making it a bit unstable. There seems to be a small gap on one side, between the outer rim of the BBQ and the outer rim of the rotisserie attachment. We can see the coals, which means that the heat is not being focused on the item being cooked. It worked great though, as long as you don't mess about with it too much, otherwise it wants to slip one side down into the BBQ. We are thinking of correcting this problem, by using some bolts attached to the body of the BBQ that act as a stop for the rotisserie to rest on.”
