“I've got a big old hawthorn tree that needed a serious tidy up as it was getting close to overhead cables. I used both tools on the tree and they both worked so well. I was able to prune the tree right back without needing ladders or assistance. Excellent purchase and I would highly recommend.”
“I’ve only used this in a post-delivery ‘test’ but it seems very effective. The classic Wolf Garten quality and robustness . I have two observations though:- 1) The very sharp saw blade could possibly benefit from a protector. I’m keeping the plastic cover it was delivered with for now. 2) Some instructions on how to keep the lopper blade sharp would be helpful. The first branch I cut felt like a knife through butter. How do I keep it that way?”
“Saw and handle work well even at 4 metres. Lopper is harder to handle at that height due to the weight. I like the ability to move the lopper at various angles to the handle. When the blades are facing the ground the weight of the lopper is supported by the branch. However the bulk of the lopper makes it hard to place in the best position for a neat finish.”
