“Used these for the 1st time yesterday. At first I considered returning them because to open them fully you need open the handles to such a wide angle, it seemed stupid.
However I am glad I kept them. Most the items I cut require just small movement, and when I tested them on bigger cuts there was very little effort required. You do need to clear out the smaller growth first. These made quick and easy work of clearance at the back of my garden. which had gone wild. A little on the heavy side perhaps, but not to a real man. These are sturdy and strong!
I like the fact that I can get replacement blades in future if required. The handle adjustment is easy even with gloves on and they stay locked in position set. Effortless to use and cut through old 2" Buddleia, thick Ivy and general garden overgrowth. small shrubs and trees. They feel like they will last a lifetime.”
